Treemaster at work
Wellsboro Green
We’ve been entrusted with the responsibility of caring for the trees at the Wellsboro Green, and recently we had the incredible opportunity to work on a majestic old maple tree. It’s awe-inspiring to think about the experiences this tree has witnessed over its 100+ years of existence. Unfortunately, most of its upper portion had succumbed to decay, and it relied on an ancient cabling system to stay intact. Surprisingly, the tree itself remained remarkably sturdy, prompting us to take measures to preserve it for future generations.
To ensure its longevity, we meticulously removed all the dead wood and implemented a new cabling system, effectively mitigating the risks associated with its large, heavy codominant structure. Our state-of-the-art 75′ bucket truck played a vital role throughout the process, enabling us to reach every part of the tree. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the County of Tioga for entrusting us with the honor of caring for their magnificent trees.
