Fall has basically begun. Starting as early as mid-August, some trees have already started turning their yellow fall color and dropping off.
I’ve observed it especially with sugar maples and it’s even happening on the historic jailhouse elm in Wellsboro. I’ve had several clients ask me if there is something wrong with their trees and if so, what should be done to help them.
